Bright Idea - Keeping Bread Fresh
If you do not have a bread crock or bin, use a cotton drawstring bag to a store a loaf of bread. Wash and dry the bag between uses, to prevent mould from developing.

Traditional Tip - Polishing glasses
Make a thin paste from baking powder and water, and rub it on to glass. Rinse well, and dry with a soft cloth to create a bright shine. This polish also works well on car windscreens.
